PRINTING METHODS

Screen Printing

Screen Printing is one of the most popular T-shirt printing methods. Being the fastest and best printing method it also has fewer limitations as to what products and materials can be printed on. It’s a process that applies ink directly onto clothing and fabric using mesh screens. Screen printing is also sometimes known as silkscreen printing. One color is printed at a time, so several screens can be used to produce a multicolored image or design.

Colorful design is always eye-catching and appealing, but at the same time it is very important to consider the number of colors to use in the design. More colors mean, more work, and higher printing costs.

Sublimation Printing

Sublimation printing is also known as dye-sublimation printing. It does not pass through the usual liquid state and only occurs at specific temperatures and pressures. The process of sublimation shirt printing costs more than other methods, but it lasts longer, and will not crack or peel over time, like other shirt printing methods. Sublimation printing is only suitable for garments that include polyester (100% polyester or polyester blend). This printing method combines ink with the substrate while it is in a gaseous state. Then, the ink solidifies as it merges with the substrate and forms the logo or image you designed. It is basically a method of printing that transfers a design by using ink and heat.

DTF Printing

Digital textile printing industry has seen rapid growth over the last decade as more & more users shift towards the digitalization of textile printing. The use of digital printers allows one to inculcate ease, simplicity, fabric performance, consistency, and most importantly an enormous variety of colors in textiles thus making the whole process reliable & cost-effective overall.

DTF works on many different garment materials: cotton, nylon, treated leather, polyester, 50/50 blends, and both light and dark fabrics. The transfers can even be applied to different types of surfaces like luggage, shoes, and even glass, wood, and metal! You can expand your inventory by applying your designs to a whole variety of merchandise with DTF.

Embroidery Printing

Embroidery and screen printing are the main two methods for adding logos or small designs to clothing and apparel. With embroidery, the logo is reproduced by stitching threads directly into the fabric. The actual stitching process is fully automatic and performed by computerized embroidery machines.

An embroidered design, which is stitched straight into the fabric, is much more likely to last for longer than a screen-printed design, which is printed on top of the fabric. One of the issues with screen printing is that the design can crack and fade as time goes on.
